The Great Depression?

The Great Depression of God in the Bible the incident that constituted one of the emotional and heart breaking stories in the Bible, to me, is when the children of Israel vehemently asked for a king.

How to pray to Jesus

I want you to tell a story. A handsome young man got married to a very pretty young woman. The prettiest in the whole community. They were not rich but they enjoyed whatever the daily labour could provide for them. Though they were not rich, they were the envy of their neighbourhood. They worked together, played together, ate together, sang together, did everything together. The woman took in and it was not easy for them. On the day of delivery, all the people in the community were present to see and rejoice with them. In the end, it was a pity the woman could not make it alive. But the baby boy was alive. It wasn’t an easy commotion in the community. The man could not be consoled. In his cry, he vowed not to marry another woman but to raise the child himself. The boy grew and also became the envy of all in the community.

The father was his guide, his mentor, his everything. One day, he asked his father why he decided not to marry another woman. The father responded by telling him that he did not need any distraction in raising him up the way he wanted to. Things were moving smoothly until the boy graduated from college. He got a job and was doing well. He rented and moved alone into his new apartment. And all of a sudden, he sends a message to his father through a messenger he employed that he doesn’t want to see him anymore. In the message contained that seeing him is through that messenger.

The father tearfully pleaded to get to meet with him so they could sort sort out whatever it was. His plea was adamantly turned down. How to pray with the Rosary step by step processes

What a heat breaking story! That is exactly what God suffered in the hands of the children of Israel. Let’s read.

Depression in our society turning the things of God in a mistery Series, a way to deploying the extral ordinary.

1 Samuel 8:4-7. 4 Then all the elders of Israel gathered themselves together, and came to Samuel unto Ramah, 5 And said unto him, Behold, thou art old, and thy sons walk not in thine ways: now make us a king to judge us like all the nations. 6 But the thing displeased Samuel, when they said, Give us a king to judge us. And Samuel prayed unto the LORD. 7 And the LORD said unto Samuel, Hearken unto the voice of the people in all that they say unto thee: for they have not rejected thee, but they have rejected me, that I should not reign over them. KJV. Emphasis mine.

If God could shed tears, that’s one of the moments He did. You can visibly and clearly feel what God felt from those verses. When you read further, all the pleas of God fell on deaf ears.

Jeremiah 2:1-5. 1 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 2 Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD: I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown. 3 Israel was holiness unto the LORD, and the firstfruits of his increase: all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the LORD. 4 Hear ye the word of the LORD, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel: 5 Thus saith the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?

Micah 6:3-4. 3 O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied {wronged} thee? Testify against me. 4 For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam. KJV. Emphasis mine.

God is heart-broken when ever we reject Him from being the Judge of our lives. He wants us to talk. He wants to care. He wants to support. He wants to help. But we’re not letting Him. That’s the sole reason He sent Jesus Christ to come and search us out and reconcile us back to Himself. He’s longing for a relationship with His. Would you let Him?

If you find yourself in this habit of shutting the door in God’s face, and you feel bad about it, there’s a very simple way to make an amend. Just say these few words sincerely from your heart:

My come to realize that I’ve been in the wrong

I’ve been shutting you out of my life

Thank You for loving me still

I’ve seen my wrong

And please I’m sorry for breaking Your heart

I ask that You renew my spirit to love and obey You

I welcome Jesus the Christ into my heart

And I ask that Your Holy Spirit guide my ways always

Amen.

If you made that prayer, study the Bible. You will hear Him speak to you. Pray and let Him know your concerns. He hears.

How to pray to Jesus

Learning how to pray to God according to the bible: Practical Prayer Guide The word “prayer” is very common to us all, yet most people do not understand the full meaning of it. Today, places of worship abound, where people gather for worship, to praise and pray to God, our Almighty Creator. Diverse doctrines of all biblical based religions and faiths How to pray the Rosary step by step with Prayerscannot and will not change the “ever known ancient” pattern of prayer and supplication showcased in the scriptures. Learning how to pray to God and constantly praying has helped a lot of people get out of troubles, both in our time and in biblical times.

The scripture is the standard upon which one can rely and experience the superfluous imminence and transcendent light from God. Through prayers, one can tap from the divine energy of God; the energy will help unlock the doors and windows of blessings, success, healing, good health, uplift and spiritual bliss, etc.

What is Prayer?

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, prayer is an address to God in word or thought. Prayer means talking to God in the form of giving Him praise, thanks, expressing one’s needs or desires. However, I define prayer as the “Consciousness tune-up of the inner self”, toward the throne of the presence of the Almighty God.

Most people say prayer is the close Communication with God in spirit. Prayer brought quick answers and Solutions to our needs

What I mean is that, when we pray, we tend to elevate our consciousness towards a more lofty existence than the one we are already in. When we pray, we are actually bringing ourselves closer to a communion with the divine; and when we have a communion with our creator, when we in a meeting with our maker, we have every opportunity to tender our request.

A good example to describe the instance of praying to God is one having a meeting with a king. Imagine you have the opportunity once a year to meet with the king of your land, won’t you prepare the best way you can and cherish every moment of the meeting. If we will do so for an earthly king and ruler, how much more we should do for the ruler of the whole universe. The most interesting part is that, the ruler of the whole universe desires and is ever willing to listen to our prayers.

"We talked to the Almighty God "the maker" through prayers while he talked to us through the scriptures of his words in Bible"
Some times comes as a prayer revalation and dreams".

There is no distinction to a class of people for whom prayer is made for. Everyone can pray depending on one’s understanding of actually what prayer is and what one needs.

The challenging vicissitudes of life cannot come to an end as long as this earth endures {Genesis 8:22}

While do you Pray

1. The essence of prayer is to draw us closer to our creator and at the same time we can use the opportunity to entreat our creator to ease off our problems and grant us our heart desires.

2. Communication to your maker in spirit

3. Quick answers to any of your problem

4. Submit/asked of God for you need your help and get Solutions to any. Etc

Understanding Prayer

In the book of Genesis, it is stated “Jacob in his dream saw ladder plunged from the earth reaching the heaven. Angels were ascending and descending from it to earth. {Genesis 28:12}. It means that man’s pure thought (meditative prayer} and pure verbal statement (invocative prayer} to God, ascends through the gate (ladder) of prayer plunged from earth to heaven.

Prayer then can be said to be the request of whatever one needs with supplications to the almighty God; who in turn supplies it to him from the throne (store house) through the same ladder of request.

Steps by steps on how to #Pray to #God

1. Prepare your mind and heart:

Prayer is an action that requires the unification of the mind and the heart. Our heart harbours emotions while our mind nurtures thoughts and reasons. Our hearts create the emotions that spark thoughts and our minds decide how to express those thoughts. To pray, one needs to unify his mind and heart, and that is when we say that we are in the mood to pray. To be in the mood to pray, means, we have aligned our minds to express our hearts’ emotions.

You do not necessarily need to go to the mountains to put yourself in the mood to pray, but you need to create the awareness of divinity around you before you can pray fervently. God is everywhere, but to feel His presence, you need to tune up the divine consciousness around you before we can feel it.

Some of the ways to prepare the mind and heart to pray to God.

Singing praises and worships before praying: Doing this elevates our consciousness from the mundane to a lofty consciousness and realm of existence.

Meditation: This involves clearing the mind of every thought and focusing on one thought, which is the divine. Meditation will assist you to feel vibrations of higher frequencies that normally you cannot feel. In meditation your body will be there but your consciousness is somewhere else. Meditation is most times practiced by people who have mastered how to control their thoughts and emotions.

Concentration: This practice involves clearing your mind of every distraction to give attention to a particular action. This is some worth like meditation. But meditation sometimes requires the use of certain materials to influence consciousness tune-up. It might also require you go to a quiet place; however, to concentrate does not necessarily need such. This is the practice that suits short prayers in an uncomfortable environment.

2. Start by Thanking God

When you are in the mood to pray to God, the first action in prayer is to offer thanks to the creator for all He has done, is doing and will continue to do. When we appreciate Him for all He has done, He will be willing to do more. Thank Him for the gift of life, health, business, food shelter, money, safety, etc; remember that whatsoever you have is the gift of God, for riches and honour come from the Lord 1 Chronicles 29:12.

3. Ask for divine forgiveness.

The next prayer point after thanking God should be asking Him for forgiveness. The bible says “Blessed is the man whose sins the Lord does not count against.” Psalm 32:2.

It is also stated in the book of Isaiah 59:1-2 saying “Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save nor His ear dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from God”. However, we do not need to panic as long as we have made up to repent, return to God and ask for forgiveness, “For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Sovereign Lord; repent and live.” Ezekiel 18:32.

4. Speak as the Spirit Leads

At this point you can table all your requests and supplications before the Almighty God, however, make sure you also ask Him for the grace to always draw close to Him and to always do His will. When you ask God for something, implore His grace and favour. “For His mercies endures forever.” Psalm 136-2.

Ask your needs from God with sincerity of heart. Say your heartfelt prayers with a broken and a contrite; heart for God does not despise such heart. Psalm 51-17. When you request form God of anything, do not ask randomly, be specific and give reasons why He should do what you asked of Him. For example, when you ask God for money, tell Him what you need the money for, e.g. education, feeding, charity, etc. Doing so will make you ask reasonably and for a reasonable course.

6. Pray for Others

When we pray to God for others, our prayers get answered faster. So, consider praying for others as you pray for yourself.

7. Back up your Prayer with Events in the Bible

Spiritual Activities That Work with Prayers

1. Fasting

As a religious term, fasting can be defined as the process of abstaining from eating food during a prayer session. It is a ritual that was commanded by God in the bible Leviticus 23:32, and was practiced by a lot of people in the bible.

Fasting is a spiritual exercise that helps in spiritual growth and imbues spiritual discipline. Most times in the scriptures when people fasted, they did so as a penance intended to serve as reparation for the act of sin. 1Samuel 7:5-7, Nehemiah 9:1-3, Jonah 3:69. In biblical era, fasting is most sometimes associated with acts like wearing sackcloth and putting ashes on the head.

There is a mystical and spiritual benefit associated with fasting. When one fasts, he burns fat and blood, in this process; it is as if the person in question is already bringing himself/herself as a living sacrifice before God.

2. Keeping the Laws of God

One cannot be in sin that grace may abide. If you love me keep my commandments. A lot of people, in the name of receiving grace, have rejected the laws of God. The laws of which God Himself said which “keep my decrees and laws, for the person who obeys them will live by them. I am the lord.” Leviticus 18:5.

God Bless you as you read and remained Blessed?

Example of step by step Prayers with the Holy Beads

Hold the Rosary in your hands and begin with the Sign of the Cross. While you do the Sign of the Cross, say these words:

“In the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.”

You will pray the Apostles’ Creed, holding the Crucifix or Cross, after which you can also make an act of contrition (this is optional, but we highly recommend it).

Apostles’ Creed:

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

Act of Contrition:

O my God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee, and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven, and the pains of hell; but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, Who are all good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen.

Our Father:

Our Father, Who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary:

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of death. Amen.

Quick answer to prayer on how to get rich quick

Quick answer to prayer on how to get rich quick

The one unique principle that exists is that the solution to a problem lies within the problem. This is a fact that only a few is aware of. Do you know that the solution to your financial problem still lies on the problem?

Let me explain with a proof. In the book of Exodus 15:23, when Moses led the Israelites from the Red Sea into the desert of Shur, they came to the waters of Mara, but they couldn’t drink its water because the water was bitter. The Israelites grumbled against Moses for lack of water and Moses prayed to God. At that moment, God showed him a piece of wood which he threw into the water and the water became fit for drinking. At least three lessons can be gleaned from this event.

Every problem has a solution.

The solution to a problem lies within it, if not close to it.

Sometimes prayer alone does not bring solution, action is needed.

Once you realize that no matter how severe the problem is, that there is a solution, then your salvation is on the way. Your awareness of this builds up hope and the strength to carry on and keep fighting.

Again, who could have told the Israelites that the material that has the chemical properties to purify the bitter water is just right beside the water? Sometimes we only need to pause and ponder, doing this gives you a clear mindset to think reasonably. Within the problem always lies the solution, oh yes! The solution is not far from the problem.

All you need to do is to eschew fear and agitation. Let me tell you something, “once fear creeps in, all your experiences, knowledge and energy freeze out”. At this point, you will automatically become dumb and powerless.

However, if you are able to muster courage and make inquiries, then you will find out that the solution to the problem is just near like the piece of wood. All you need to do is to pick it up and throw it into the water like Moses did. Again, sometimes it is not all about prayer, you need action. It wouldn’t be a difficult task for God to cause the water to become fit to drink, instead, He decided to involve man’s action. My brother, my sister, you need to go out there and get something doing to make money.

Okay, back to what we were saying about the solution to a problem being close to the problem. If you are having financial struggle and you are praying for financial breakthrough, my brother, my sister, the ritual to get quick answer to this prayer is “giving to charity”.

Do you know why the Jewish people tend to be very rich, it’s because they have made giving to charity a ritual. Do you know that a typical Jewish man gives charity every morning after praying? He/she puts the money into a box called Tzadakkah box in the Synagogue or at home. Prayer for the Holy Spirit

At the end of the week, the monies will be accumulated and sent to families that do not have enough fund to prepare for sabbath or it will be used to buy food supplies and send to families that do not have enough items for the sabbath day. Is this not amazing? And like I said, it’s a ritual because they do it every day except on sabbath days.

Giving to charity is the number one means of becoming financially okay. It is mystical and you can make it a ritual. It is a ritual used in making quick money. Why? Because God uses you that is giving to charity to take care of others to keep the world going. If He fails to give you the money, many will starve. So, you left God no option than to give you more money because you will use it to take care of His children.

In fact, in many places in the scriptures, God commanded us to give to the poor so that we can get richer; the ritual is already stated. To confirm to you that giving to charity is the only ritual dedicated for getting rich, God categorically created a law of charity in disguise called Tithing, or giving of tithe. Because it is expected of you to do always, it is a ritual.

Conclusion

God answered quick prayers to all who believes in him

How To Pray In The Holy Spirit

What does it mean to pray in the Holy spirit? What does it mean to pray in the Holy spirit? Is it important for our work with God?

If it is, how can we pray in the Holy spirit? What does praying in the Holy spirit entail?

how to pray in the spirit

This questions probe the concept of praying in the Holy spirit. The popular opinion about praying in the Holy spirit is praying in tongues but that is only a part of what it actually means to pray in the spirit.

Note that praying in the Holy spirit and praying in the Holy Ghost are the same. To pray in the Holy Spirit and to pray in the Holy Ghost are the same. Older translations used Ghost but newer translation made use of Spirit

The misconceptions surrounding the subject matter before us is one of the reasons behind the difficulties, setbacks, and hindrances we encounter when we pray.

I trust that by God's grace at the end of this piece, you will understand the concept of praying in the spirit and how to pray in the spirit.

It is important to note that praying in the spirit is not a theoretical proposition but a reality. It is not something to just know but an experience we must partake in.

As you read the letters of this article, it is also my sincere desire that you not only understand what it means to pray in the spirit but that you begin to do so.

In order to understand what it means to pray in the spirit, let's look at what it is not. Since there is no standing on the fence. If one is not praying in the spirit then they are praying in the flesh.

What Is Praying In The Flesh?

What does it mean to pray in the flesh?

Simply put, praying in the flesh is the opposite of praying in the spirit.

The contrast between praying in the flesh and praying in the spirit is one that we must carefully look.

We are humans. We have tendencies and God made us with them. For example, our emotions, volition, intellects e.t.c can effect on our prayer. That is, prayers can be subjected to these factors.

There are times when you feel this is what you should pray for. You may decide by careful observations, pressures, circumstances around, considerations and so on that this is the right thing to pray about.

Some times we can be correct and the prayer we offer from that standpoint can be accurate. But this is not always the case.

This is because our emotions, volition, intellects, observations and what have you are fallible. What we think we need is not always what we need. What our circumstances portray as our problems may not be our problems.

This constitutes a major hindrance to the answers to our prayers because we would be praying amiss when we pray from the viewpoint of those metrics.

God loves us and this is the reason why He wants to directly address what it is our problems are. He says:

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. - Jeremiah 29:11

This is why prayer is so powerful. It is man trying to access this bounties reserved for us by God. Prayer must be the believer's lifestyle and not a part-time venture.

NOTE THIS: God answers prayers (Psalms 65:2). This is the confidence we have in Him, one that stayed unbroken through out the years (1 John 5:14-15)

What then is praying in the flesh?

Praying in the flesh is carrying out the art of prayer while SOLELY DEPENDING and RELYING on your abilities.

Notice my choice of words. It is solely depending on your humanity to carry out a spiritual function. This accounts for the reason why the will of God will not be prevalent in our lives.

God intends that our prayers are answered. And He has made provision for us to be able to pray and get Him to answer. That provision is His Spirit indwelling in us.

I will like you to note that the Holy Spirit is an important personality and plays a crucial role in our prayers to God. He is God's provision for praying effectively.

God delights in answering prayers as we see in the following scriptures:

If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. - John 14:14

And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. - John 16:23-24

And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is:

Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?

The kings of the earth stood up, and the rulers were gathered together against the Lord, and against his Christ.

For of a truth against thy holy child Jesus, whom thou hast anointed, both Herod, and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles, and the people of Israel, were gathered together,

For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

And now, Lord, behold their threatening: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. - Acts 4:23-33

Before we go into what praying in the spirit means, I would like you to know that it is a great privilege afforded us by God to pray in the spirit.

What Then Does It Mean To Pray In The Spirit?

In defining what praying in the flesh was, I said it is the opposite of praying in the spirit. Which means praying in the spirit is praying while depending on the Spirit of God in accordance to the will of God.

To fully understand what praying in the spirit means, I would like to draw your attention to a very interesting and profound insight in Jude 20 which says:

But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,

We would be highlighting the phrase "praying in the Holy spirit" and looking at it from the perspective of its original transliteration with emphasis on the word "in".

In the original rendition, the word "in" is transliterated "en" which by definition is "in, by & with".

With these three prepositions - in, by and with - we can articulate what it means to pray in the spirit.

Picking the "in" preposition from our list, to pray in the spirit can be likened to praying from a location called the spirit. Tongue-in-cheek, I mean entering into the spirit and offering prayers from there.

The location "the spirit" where we should pray from is not a physical location so to speak but a place where the will and government of God is prevalent.

Recall that prayer must be in accordance to the will of God. hence, praying in the spirit is praying from a point where only the will of God finds expression.

This is also made possible by God's Spirit dwelling in our spirit as we see from Romans 8:9:

But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his

Moving on to the "by" preposition. This provision speaks about God's provision for helping us to pray effectively. In Romans 8:26, we see that the Holy Spirit helps us to pray.

The Spirit of God is God's agent for praying effectively. We would be far from praying effectively without the Spirit.

When I defined praying in the flesh, I told you that it is praying while solely depending on your ability. Praying in the spirit is the other way round because it is praying while depending on the spirit.

This is what praying by the spirit mean. Praying by the spirit is to pray by the help of the Holy spirit.

Man is full of infirmities. He is weak, frail and would always be in need of help. Most especially in his dealings with God and in keeping with God's demands.

Staying on our discourse on prayer, man will never be able to effectively pray to God without being helped by the Spirit of God.

God steps in for the infirmities and supplies help to facilitate an effective communication of the right things that can surround the life of a man in order to bring him into bliss and joy. This is praying by the spirit.

The Spirit of God identifies the need, gets over the limitation that surrounds the individual, goes beyond his weaknesses and quickens his spirit to enable the individual put his current state within the context of the will of God and access the person of God.

Psalms 80:18 is one scripture that to a large extent explains what praying by the spirit is about. It says:

So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name.

Asaph, the writer of Psalms 80, understood that man is frail and must subscribe to a higher energy source in order to pray effectively. And in John 6:63, Jesus shows us that it is the Spirit that quickens.

The Spirit is that higher energy source we must be connected to if we would pray correctly. Praying by the spirit provides us support for prayer.

The third and final preposition is "with". The word "with" in this context is to be "accompanied by". So, praying with the spirit is to pray accompanied by the spirit.

To explain this, let's analyze Romans 8:26 with particular interest on the word "helpeth".

Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. - Romans 8:26

The word "helpeth" literally refers to the action of having someone help you carry a load or lift something. Let me give you an analogy to explain this point.

Say you want to move your sofa from the sitting room to your bedroom. You call out to a friend to come assist you by holding one end while you hold the other and together you lift up the sofa and move it.

In similitude, praying with the Holy spirit is partnering with the spirit, so that the both of you can lift up the burden of prayer together.

Why Is It Important To Pray With The Spirit?

It is because we are full of infirmities and that creates the inability to pray as we ought to. But by the assistance of the spirit, we can overcome those infirmities and pray correctly.

In a compressed form putting all the prepositions together, praying in the spirit is:

Praying from a place where God's will and government coordinates and directs our prayers, where we pray not by relying on our abilities but on the Spirit of God, praying through the assistance of God's Spirit in partnership with our spirit.

How To Pray In The Spirit.
