Today, May 8th is the birthday of Pastor 'Poju Oyemade.

Pastor Poju Oyemade is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Covenant Christian Centre, Lagos. The church office is located at 400 Herbert Macaulay Way – Yaba, Lagos. 

Covenant Christian Centre is a fast growing church which holds 4 services every Sunday morning, with two of those services taking place at The Covenant Place, Iganmu, another at the Yaba Centre and the Family Service taking place at the Covenant Chapel, Lekki.

Midweek service takes place every Wednesday at the Yaba Centre – 400, Herbert Macaulay Way, Yaba, Lagos and Thursday at the Lekki Chapel by 6:30pm . Essentially, Covenant Christian Centre is one church with three centres.

Pastor 'Poju was called to ministry whilst he was still an undergraduate at the University of Lagos. He was ordained into ministry by Bishop David Oyedepo, the presiding bishop of Living Faith Ministries Worldwide (a.k.a Winner's Chapel).

He is a teacher of the Word of faith with insight into how believers can apply biblical principles in a pragmatic and practical way in their daily lives.

This dynamic pastor hosts regular Faith Seminars, Singles' Summits,Annual Conference "WAFBEC", Financial and Business Seminars where believers are taught the undiluted Word and how it can be applied directly in their situations to produce results, God's way.

He is married to Mrs. Toyin Oyemade.

Renowned Evangelist, Reinhard Bonnke is Dead

German evangelist, Reinhard Bonnke has been confirmed dead.
The family of German evangelist Reinhard Bonnke has confirmed the preacher's demise.

The family made the announcement via his official Facebook page that Bonnke passed away peacefully in the company of his relatives on Saturday, December 7.

"It is with sorrow that the Bonnke Family would like to announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Evangelist Reinhard Bonnke. He passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on December 7, 2019," read the statement.

Born in 1940, the late son of army logistics officer touched many lives through his gospel missions especially Africa where served as both evangelist and a missionary in Africa since 1967.

In 1974, he founded the mission organisation and ministry Christ For All Nations which was initially based in South Africa but later on moved to Frankfurt at the height of apartheid rule.

Reinhard Bonnke lived his life for the advancement of the kingdom of God, preaching to millions all over the world. Doing the work of an evangelist, his life was a plus to God's kingdom and the Body of Christ.

He died at age 79.

Today, the 6th day of June is Pastor William Folorunsho Kumuyi's birthday. 

Known widely as Pastor W.F Kumuyi, He is the founder of Deeper Life Bible Church (DLBC). With a unique emphasis on Holiness and Holy Living, Pastor Kumuyi has been an immense contributor to the growth and development of the body of Christ in Nigeria.

Today He is 78 years old. I pray that his labours in the Body of Christ would be rewarded. I pray that on this day of his birth may God increase the anointing on his life and grant him rest on all sides.
